About Aegir Yacht Deliveries

We deliver motor or sailing yachts from any location to the harbor of your choice throughout the Great Lakes, U.S. East and Gulf Coast, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Atlantic.

Every delivery is handled by a highly experienced and well-qualified Skipper (and crew) who holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain License, understands the care you take in your vessel, and takes pride in ensuring safe, reliable, on-time, and on-budget deliveries.

Deliveries

Before setting out, we check all the boat's systems including the operation of the engine(s), boat systems, rigging, electronics, and fittings. Anything that is not in working order, or that might seriously affect the delivery's passage, will be reported on and will need to be fixed before setting out—all in agreement with the owner. We can also arrange to deal with small repairs to prevent you from having to hire expensive professionals.

The safety of the ship and its crew are the skipper's first priority. The skipper has the final say in determining if the weather, sea state, and vessel are safe enough to sail, as well as any final decisions made during the delivery. To keep wear and tear to a minimum your vessel will be sailed or motored conservatively.

Upon delivery, we will give you a full report including the complete log of the passage, and an assessment of your yacht and its systems highlighting any repairs or modifications that might be necessary.
